Induction

Today I met all the other Science Teacher Fellows at an Induction Day at Capital Gateway Motor Inn. Both Secondary and Primary Teachers. A great bunch! What a range of topics we're covering! John gave us the "dos and donts". - and told us how we are going to enjoy having a life back for 6 months!

It started with...

I was on a Science Learning Hub course November when I heard about the Primary Science Teacher Fellowship. It sounded so exciting, I could tick off all the boxes for eligibility so I applied.

Life was hectic- reports, school camp prep, a bereavement, but I managed to throw an application together. Things rushed along, and down at Marahau (on School Camp!),  at low tide, (because that's where cell phone coverage is) I found out that I would be at Niwa for Term 1 and 2 this year.

6 months out of the classroom, working amongst real scientists!
